• Does Limited Brands have a charitable program?

  Yes. Limited Brands believes that giving back to our communities is an extremely important value of the Company and we are pleased that our many associates have a long history of sharing that value. Limited Brands has set up a charitable donations program through Limited Brands Foundation as a means of support for registered, non-profit 501(c)(3) organizations that fit within our philanthropic focus and meet our guidelines. (A non-profit 501(c)(3) organization is a tax-exempt charitable organization as designated by the Internal Revenue Service.)

• What is the focus of the Limited Brands foundation?

  The Foundation's primary areas of focus include supporting organizations whose major purpose is empowering women, mentoring and nurturing children and improving education.

• Who do you support?

  Limited Brands supports 501(c)(3) organizations in our home office communities that focus on empowering women, mentoring and nurturing children and improving education.
  

• What does it mean to be a registered, non-profit 501(c)(3) organization?

   A tax-exempt charitable organization as designated by the Internal Revenue Service.
  

• Do you sponsor individuals or athletic teams?

  While we wish you success with your endeavors, unfortunately we cannot sponsor individuals or athletic teams for any purpose. We have established guidelines for efforts, events and organizations we cannot support.
  

• What is the geographic focus of the Limited Brands Foundation giving?

  We focus our Foundation giving to our home office communities of Columbus, Ohio, Kettering, Ohio, New York City, New York and Rio Rancho, New Mexico. While we do not provide funding to communities outside of our home office cities, our stores and associates do touch their own communities through our successful Giving Tree program. • How do I request a cash contribution?

   Before submitting a request for support, we encourage you to read through the Grant Criteria portion of this site to ensure that your request aligns with our philanthropic focus and guidelines and does not fall under one of the listed categories that we do not fund. After reviewing our grants process, have your charitable tax ID/EIN number ready and submit an application requesting support.

• How long does the review process take?

• There are several Limited Brands businesses in my local area. Can I request a donation through the stores? I would like a gift card or gift basket for use as an auction item for a fundraising event.

  Because demand for our products outweighs our resources, we only donate auction or raffle items like gift cards and gift baskets to 501(c)(3) organizations in our home office communities. The businesses that make up Limited Brands (Victoria's Secret, Bath & Body Works, The White Barn Candle Co., Henri Bendel, and La Senza) operate more than 3,000 stores across the United States and Canada.
