Martina McBride and the National Domestic Violence Hotline Honor Limited Brands

February 25, 2010

Before Martina McBride brought down the house in Columbus, OH on February 21, she took time to honor Limited Brands with a Vital Link award on behalf of the National Domestic Violence Hotline.
In a backstage, pre-concert presentation, the country songstress recognized Limited Brands’ commitment to victims of domestic violence and the community through programs like our Giving Tree and Adopt A Mom campaigns. Donations collected are given to local shelters where women and families who have experienced domestic violence benefit from gifts of clothing, personal care items and more.
In 2009, associates adopted more than 18,000 moms and touched more than 30,000 lives – helping women and children recover and spreading awareness about domestic violence.
