Associates Lend a Building Hand to Local Furniture Bank of Central Ohio

Last month 36 Limited Brands associates assembled kitchen tables in our Columbus home office buildings for Furniture Bank client families. The volunteers built nearly 30 tables, which Central Ohio families in need of furniture will now enjoy in their homes.

Limited Brands associate, Dottie Martin, is one of the many volunteers that loved helping the Furniture Bank of Central Ohio. “Working with the Furniture Bank reminded me of so many things that we take for granted. Other people don't even have something as simple as a kitchen table.  How humbling that is?” said Dottie.

In November, Limited brands associates went to Furniture Bank and helped assemble tables, stock and organize house ware donations and assist staff by delivering furniture to client homes.

"Limited Brands volunteers are always motivated, energetic and a pleasure to work with. They are interested in learning more about the Furniture Bank’s mission and eager to find more ways to help further our cause,” said Sean Becker, community relations manager at Furniture Bank of Central Ohio.

Since 2001, Limited Brands has been a continuous supporter of the    Furniture Bank of Central Ohio whose mission is to provide free furniture to our Central Ohio neighbors in need.
