Limited Brands Earns 95% on HRC Equality Index

For the second year in a row, Limited Brands has earned a 95 percent on the Human Rights Campaign (HRC) Corporate Equality Index and Best Places to Work survey, a leading indicator of companies' attitudes and policies toward lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) employees, customers and investors.
"We are pleased that our core value, 'Inclusion makes us stronger,' and the daily actions that make it come to life are recognized by the HRC," said Marvin Clayton, vice president of diversity and inclusion. "We will continue to make advancements in our support of the LGBT community and look forward to introducing our LGBT Associate Resource Group later this year."
"The HRC is the nation's largest advocacy group for gay, bisexual, transgendered and lesbian Americans. The Corporate Equality Index rated a total of 844 companies this year on a scale of 0 to 100 on their fair treatment of members of the LGBT community.
