Limited Brands African American Resource Network Hosts OSU's Dr. Caligiuri in Latest Quarterly Meeting

The African American Resource Network (AARN), a part of Limited Brands’ Associate Resource Groups (ARG), hosted Dr. Caligiuri, executive director of The Ohio State University Cancer Hospital and Research Institute, during its most recent quarterly meeting.

He addressed how cancer affects different races, and emphasized the importance of knowing your family’s lineage for preemptive measures.

Another topic close to Dr. Caligiuri is Pelotonia, one of the largest fundraisers for the hospital.

All money raised for Pelotonia, a ride to end cancer, go to funding Dr. Caligiuri’s team’s research at the Comprehensive Cancer Center and James Cancer Hospital/Solove Research Institute (OSUCCC-James) at The Ohio State University.

Limited Brands will kick off its Pelotonia campaign in March.
